Louis Martin, an English born South African golf and sports manager, a mechanical engineer by profession, began his golfing career by caddying on the European tour in 1985. Only six months later he formed his own sports management and marketing business in South Africa.
In 1998 Louis was appointed the C. E. O. of the Sunshine Tour (South African PGA Tour) until 2003. He then took over the same position on the Asian Tour for another three years until 2006. Due to his direct and decisive character, he is highly respected amongst colleagues and clients. He was with Andrew (Chubby) Chandler’s company ISM (International Sport Management) from 2011 to 2019.
Louis is part of an ideal management structure for professional sportsmen and golfers who have benefited from his expertise such as Rory McIlroy, Darren Clarke, Ernie Els, Lee Westwood, Charl Schwartzel, Louis Oosthuizen, Danny Willett, Matt Fitzpatrick and many more. Louis still travels the American and European Tours with his players and resides in Great Britain as well as the United States.
