Bibi Madiba  


Bibi Madiba is a South African event manager and education activist. She started out at Keyboards Secretarial College in Johannesburg and later studied at the Institute of Risk Management of South Africa, UNISA and the South West Gauteng College SWGC. Bibi has worked for the South African Parliament, The Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), as well as companies like Transnet Ltd, Nedbank, Services Seta and MerSeta. Born and raised in Soweto and being an avid golfer, Bibi spent many years on the development of golf and the local youth with legend golfer Vincent Tshabalala, a co-founder of PLeace Awaken. She is the founder of Twelve18 Creatives and Projects and a Board Member for the Sefika-Thebe Project. Bibi is also a council member of the St. Francis of Assisi Anglican church in Soweto after having served on the council of the famous St. George's Cathedral in Cape Town from where Archbishop Desmond Tutu led numerous marches and campaigns for the formal end of apartheid. Having been with the development of PLeace Awaken from the start, Bibi holds the position of Secretary of the Board.
