Christian K. Schaeffer is a German actor who appeared in more than 100 films and television series. At the beginning of his career he acted on stage. At the end of the 1990’s he began his career on German television. Christian took on several ongoing series, recurring in episode as well as guest roles. He was often cast in popular and traditional Bavarian comedy on German television and later also in romantic love stories adapted from novels and short stories by “Inga Lindström” and “Utta Danella”. What made Christian famous however, was the role of Jo Caspar with almost 300 episodes in the ZDF television series "Rosenheim Cops", which has more than 5 million viewers. In 2007, he also starred with Patrick Swayze and Martine McCutcheon in the film "Jump!", and also appeared in some short films and in many feature films. He has received several awards, among others at the International Short Film Festival in Munich and the Bavarian Television Prize. On November 6, 2010, Christian launched the swing and cabaret show "Let's Swing and other Stories", and he will soon release his first swing album. Christian and his wife reside in Germany.
