Emmanuel Castis, born and Raised in Johannesburg South Africa, became a household name with his role as Steve on popular SABC 3 soap series "Isidingo".
Since then he has gone on to star in critically acclaimed Drama series "Erfsondes" as Chris Spencer, played a charming crooner in ETV’s award winning "Scandal" and has toured the world with the role of Nick Massi on the Broadway hit Musical "Jersey Boys". He has also played in "7de Laan" and was a guest in various other shows. Emmanuel did a stint for almost a year in Los Angeles in the United States, where he was the male vocalist the band Vanity Fair. He also made an appearance on the longest running Soap Opera in history; "General Hospital". Emmanuel returned to South Africa recently and was cast as Jaco in the SABC3 drama "Thula’s Vine", as Chris Myburgh, in the new ETV series "Broken Vows", and has just finished filming a return season of SABC2’s "Erfsondes", as Chris Spencer. Emmanuel also is an accomplished singer having released an album, "South of Nowhere" in 2008, and released his single "Alive" in 2014. He continues to Rock, Pop and Swing the stages, with his band Dalliance.
