Andreas Brehme is a German soccer player and coach. He scored the winning goal for Germany in the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final against Argentina and is considered to be one of the greatest free-kick takers and crossers of all time. Though more a defender, he managed to score for every club he played at. He was German Super Cup Winner in 1987, Italian Super Cup Winner and Italian Champion in 1989, German Bundesliga Champion in 1987 and 1998, world champion and All Star Team Member at the world championship in 1990, as well as third place Ballon d’Or , UEFA-Cup-Winner in 1991, All Star Team Member at the European Championship in 1992 and German DFB-Cup 1996. He was the Italian Player of the Year in 1989 and is holder of the silver Laurel Leaf.
